Abstract
The research question addressed in this study is how does technology integration, specifically the SMART Board impact student engagement and student learning in my second grade language arts classroom. The study explores the use of high tech teaching tools as compared with traditional methods of teaching. The study investigates student engagement levels. The author uses interviews to gather students' opinions about technology in the classroom.
