Abstract
This capstone is exclusively about ADHD and effective interventions to help students who have ADHD. Besides an introduction, reviews of literature and conclusion, it includes a methods chapter that entails suggested strategies to help students focus and pay attention in an academic setting. This includes a case study with white noise for a child who has a diagnosis of ADHD. In addition, a yoga intervention took place in a second grade classroom, which no students had a diagnosis of ADHD. Both interventions showed growth in attentiveness for all students. I would recommend yoga and white noise as effective interventions for students in an elementary setting.
