Abstract
The research question addressed is: How can critical thinking skills, specifically Thinking Maps, be incorporated into Middle School Social Studies curriculum? It is one teacher’s research and creation of lessons using David Hyerle’s Thinking Maps in a Middle School Ancient Civilizations curriculum. The topic of the lessons is Ancient Mesopotamia.
