Abstract
A capstone that delves into the controversy of online learning and the advantages and disadvantages it has for school districts, teachers, and students. More specifically, it looks at how online learning can be used in place of traditional physical education classes yet still meet the national standards. Online Physical Education is at the tail end of online courses, therefore there is not a lot of information to be found. Data on student involvement is included from three school districts in Minnesota that solidifies the importance of online Physical Education for our students.
