Abstract
Every day, hard working teachers struggle to maintain positive classrooms. Many times, as the years go by and teachers become more comfortable, they forget the importance of using the first several weeks of school to build a positive classroom. As a result, teachers struggle with classroom management. This project dissects what an effective classroom look like. It also defines an effective classroom as well as gives strategies for building a positive classroom. Additionally, this project also discusses the importance of effective classroom management and strategies for maintaining classroom management. This project includes community-building activities for both the first two weeks of school and the start of second semester. It also shows what strategies were successful and where improvements can be made.
