Abstract
My capstone project is the beginning of a social skills curriculum that could be used with middle school students with high functioning autism/Asperger's disorder. I designed the curriculum to be used for the first 9 weeks of school. It covers social skills mainly in the areas of life skills and self regulation. The lessons are designed for small group learning in a ASD classroom or other small special education setting.
