Abstract
In many Minnesota districts, families find themselves considering language immersion programs as well as the traditional options for kindergarten. This new implementation of language immersion kindergarten created my curiosity to begin this study on kindergarten programs in order to help parents choose a kindergarten program that would best fit their child and his or her learning needs. Throughout the study the views of parent participants and kindergarten faculty were key influences in framing the outcomes of the research. After all of the data had been gathered, several key enrollment factors appeared to be of importance to enrolling parents. Further research and survey results may be found in the full version of this capstone.
