Abstract
The research questions addressed in this capstone were, do the residents of southern Nevada know how long the water supply will last and whose responsibility is water conservation? It documents on persons mission to find out what people know about the water resources in southern Nevada and what is being done to conserve those resources. The study focused on the faculty, staff, and students at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. The survey that was sent out asked several questions that gaged the respondent’s knowledge of how much water is left in southern Nevada and what can is being done to conserve the water supply. The author looks specifically at the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) to see what they are doing protect the water resources and encourage water conservation.
