Abstract
The research question addressed in this capstone is, what can elementary schools do to eliminate and prevent cyber bullying and the effects of cyber bullying in the school community? This capstone uses current research and literature to investigate the severity of this topic. The guiding literature used is the Safe and Supportive Minnesota Schools Act that was passed in spring 2014. This capstone takes the current research and further investigates the knowledge and attitude of teachers and school staff around the topic of cyberbullying. In the conclusion, next steps are provided to begin the process of eliminating and preventing cyber bullying in our schools.
