Abstract
The purpose of this research paper was to determine whether the use of an outdoor learning classroom would improve the test scores and overall achievement in science of 7th grade students. All students involved in the study were taking a year long course in life science and were tested specifically on their achievement during a unit focusing on the area of ecology. Students who participated in the student did show improvement when comparing their pre- and post-test scores.
