Abstract
The research hypotheses addressed in this capstone are: 1) A majority of students will feel more interested in science. 2) A majority of students will feel more prepared on a daily basis. 3) A majority of students will feel more prepared for quizzes and tests. The methodology to analyze these hypotheses was students taking pre and post Likert scale surveys. Literature that supports and refutes the use of science notebooks is included along with data. The conclusion from the study is organizational methods by using science notebooks helped improve student interest in science, an increase in students feeling less prepared, and students felt more prepared for quizzes and tests.
