Abstract
The research question addressed in this project was regarding the need for an early childhood water resource. This study reviewed the best practices of early childhood water education, environmental education, and water education perceived needs, practices and preferences. A survey was developed and distributed nationally through Project WET. The results from the survey indicated that, despite showing high levels of practice, educators were not satisfied with their early childhood water education resources and wanted to do more. Additionally, results from the survey also showed which water education topics educators considered important and the format they most desired.
