Abstract
When I started writing Point No Point, I had two things I knew for sure, that I wanted to write Joey’s story and that it would be called Point No Point. Joey is a character for me who sees the world as a place here bad things happen to her, who makes choices without considering consequence or how her decisions affect the people around her. She is a character who has the agency to alter her situation but uses her trauma to excuse her from having to take ownership and instead projects responsibility for her actions onto others.
