Special Topics: Innovation

The various stages of innovation are introduced to the students, including not just the creativity needed to form a new idea, but the market analysis, development and business strategy necessary to see that idea through to a final product. External speakers with a demonstrated history of being leaders in innovation are brought in to elaborate on the various stages in the process. The course will include Friday field trips to local innovative companies at no additional cost to the students. NOTE: This course has a $100 fee.
