Goals: To examine major psychological theories of emotion, emotional development, and emotional competence, from infancy through adulthood. Content: Emotion in evolutional and cultural context; genetic and physiological factors; emotion and cognition; emotions in personality and social relationships; individual differences in emotions; and emotions in psychopathology. Prerequisite: PSY 1330 or equivalent (grade of C- or better) Credits: 4
