Course Description
Content: Students study and perform orchestral repertoire from the 18th century to the present. In string and wind sectionals, students explore orchestral excerpts, conducting, and repertoires for single families of instruments. Prerequisite: No formal prerequisite, though advanced intermediate performance skills are expected. Ensemble membership is subject to placement auditions at start of term. Credits: 1 or 0
