Goals: To introduce students to the music of diverse cultures. Content: Classical music styles from India, China, Africa, and other cultures will be contrasted with music from Europe, the Americas, and other parts of the world. All will be related to current classical and popular traditions. Taught: Annually Credits: 4 credits
