Course Description
Piercing the Veil Pre-req: WRIT 3000 (past or concurrently) In this course we will read a wide variety of poetic and creative nonfiction texts from writers who can write electrically about the tangible world as well as hauntingly, exuberantly, transcendently about the inner (emotional, psychic, spiritual, etc.) world by using story, myth, image, figurative language, and music. Students will generate new works and workshop pieces in class. Instructor: Sun Yung Shin This course has 3 seats reserved for transfer students. If you attempt to register for this course and receive a Registration Add Error message with the status “Reserved Closed”, the remaining seats are reserved.
