School Programming For Homelessness: Perspectives Of Families And Local Homeless Liaisons

Bobby Morrow, Hamline University

Abstract

This capstone proposal focuses on homeless children and the effects homelessness has on their academic achievement from the perspective of their parents, shelter and school homeless liaisons. More importantly, this research will explore what educators can do to create a positive, supportive, and stable environment at school for homeless children by implementing an effective program or a number of support services.
