Course Description

This course provides students with relevant, hands-on city experience. The instructor will collaborate with City Labs communities to identify critical problems and priorities that the cities need to address. The communities will develop and finalize the various projects' scopes and expected outcomes with the instructor’s input. Graduate students will work in teams with assigned leadership responsibilities. Students’ work will often occur on-site. Faculty will work with the student teams in project management and mentorship capacities. In biweekly classroom sessions, lectures will be provided by faculty and guests regarding city governance.
