Course Description
Goals: To learn a range of theories of how writing works and how it is best learned, to apply these theories to develop informed writing processes and teaching practices, and to hone advanced skills in expository and argumentative writing and research. Content: Theories of composition and writing pedagogy. Taught: Annually in fall and spring semesters. Prerequisite: ENG 1110 or its equivalent. Credits: 4 credits
