Goals: To develop skills in the investigation of crime scenes; to recognize evidence; and to understand the role of physical evidence in the legal system. Content: The role of crime scene investigation in the legal system; properties of evidence; evidence collection procedures; admissibility of evidence; and interpreting and reporting results.
