Course Description
Goals: To provide experience for advanced East Asian studies majors in research and writing using primary source materials as much as possible--government documents, manuscripts, literature, or interviews. Content: This course promotes student interest in either developing a new area or deepening current knowledge. Prerequisite: Consent of instructor. This course is also open to non-East Asian studies majors.
