Full Title: Current Issues in Student Development Goals: To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the college student experience. This course is required of all Resident Assistants in the first year of employment. Content: Primary course topics include the college and university level system of education, community and culture in colleg, and individual student development. Areas of reading and discussion will include a range of individual and community development topics such as racial identity development, leadership development, ethics, conflict resolution, and other student development areas.
