Abstract
The research question addressed in this project was, how do schools accommodate students with food allergies or food related diseases? The motivating factor for this capstone was the increase in food allergies and food related diseases, specifically within my own family. This capstone looks at the increase of students that have food related issues and what schools are doing to assist those students and families. The author documents the details of what many students have to go through daily and what certain schools have in mind in regards to providing options for those students during the school day. He describes what the various allergies and diseases are, what things are being done at schools, and the people involved. He describes how the research proved that there are many things being done within the school systems to benefit those students that need different food options and care
