Abstract
The research question addressed in this capstone was, how can teachers effectively weave culture and language instruction together in a unit of study? It documents the journey of a world language teacher in a quest to create more meaningful learning for her students through integrating culture with language instruction. The development of a unit of study based on this theory is described and laid out in detail for other teachers to use as a model in their own classrooms.
