Abstract

This capstone contains ready to use lesson plans specifically for a middle school science classroom unit on cells. The best practice instructional strategies are comprised of cooperative learning, inquiry, and differentiated instruction. The research behind the instructional strategies was supported for retention purposes for student learning.
