Abstract

Our paper is the result of our school district's implementation of the International Baccalaureate program. As part of that programs implementation, our district decided to use the Understanding by Design framework created by Wiggins and McTighe. Our paper is a middle school level curriculum for the Bill of Rights that was designed using Understanding by Design. The paper contains the curriculum and explains how Understanding by Design works and how the curriculum was created using the framework.
